Rav Binyamin Ze'ev Kahane: Parashat Chukat – The Legitimate Rights of the Ammonites

Blessing before studying Torah (one needs to say this blessing only once in the day:)

Blessed are You, Hash-m our G-d, King of the universe, Who has made us holy through Your commandments, and commanded us to actively study Torah.

May it be Your Will, Hash-m our G-d, to sweeten the words of Your Torah in our mouths and in the mouths of all Your people Israel. May we and our offspring, and our offspring's offspring, and all the offspring of Your people, the House of Israel, may we all, together, know Your Name and study Your Torah for the sake of fulfilling Your desire. Blessed are You, Hash-m, Who teaches Torah to Your people Israel.

Blessed are You, Hash-m our G-d, King of the universe, Who chose us from all the nations, and gave us the Torah. Blessed are You, Hash-m, Giver of the Torah.

Rav Binyamin Ze'ev Kahane: Parashat Chukat: The Legitimate Rights of the Amonites

The modern concept of “Jewish occupied territories” rears its ugly head in Parashat Chukat and our Haftarah of the Shabbat. In our Parashah, the kings Og and Sichon prevent the Jewish People from passing through their borders on their way to the Land of Israel. Not only that, but they even wage war against us – and lose. The children of Israel conquer their land and do not let go. Interestingly enough, the following idiotic idea never dawned on either of the parties involved: O.K., we tried to annihilate you and we did not succeed, so just give us back what you conquered from us during our attempt to wipe you out, and in exchange we promise not to try to wipe you out again. No, such a proposition was never raised. When you lose, you lose, without dictating conditions afterwards.
“Land for Peace”: And what if Sichon would have come to Israel and demanded “land for peace”? What would have been the reaction then? To answer this question, we are forced to move the clock ahead another 300 years until we arrive at the Haftarah of our Parashah. That is precisely what happens. The king of Ammon brazenly demands that Israel return to him the territories that were conquered, and if they refuse, there will be war. The difference between him and the Arabs of today is that the king of Ammon is a lot more “moderate”. He personally has no previous “record” of hostility towards the Jewish People. He simply makes a very limited albeit uncompromising request. “Because Israel took away my land when they came out of Egypt, from Ammon as far as the Yabbok and the Jordan.” (Judges 11:13) The king of Ammon does not want everything. He does not seek the liquidation of the Jewish entity. He simply wants that which was taken from him. He is simply demanding to exercise the historical right of his people. And then, as if he jumped off the pages of the Tanach into today's reality, he concludes in the following manner: “Now, therefore, restore those lands peacefully.” (Judges 11:13) “Peace”. That magic word. What normal Jewish leader can refuse such an offer? After all, it is not an illogical claim; the lands were taken from them. They once even had a sovereign empire with a capital and an army there. And most importantly, here is a genuine opportunity for peace: “No more war, no more bloodshed.”
“Not one Inch”: But Yiftach's answer is a real knockout. He recounts all the relevant past history, and then concludes: “So now the L-rd of Israel has driven out the Emori from before his people Israel, and you should possess the land?! Will you not possess what your god Kemosh gives you to possess? So likewise that which the L-rd our G-d has voided before us, that shall we possess.”(Judges 11:23,24) This is the reaction of a true Jewish leader. A reaction of emunah [faith]. The land is ours not because of any “historical claim” or because we are strong, but rather because G-d gave it to us. And pay attention how Yiftach even mocks the Ammonite god “Kemosh” - take what he gives you, but from us you will get nothing – not an inch.
“How to subdue the Enemy”: How can we begin to understand the minds of those Jews, particularly religious ones, who do not grasp all this. The cursed Arab enemy has initiated war after war against us in an effort to obliterate us, and he has failed each time. Each time G-d has granted us great miracles to overcome them, yet we insist on being ingrates, not recognizing the miracles. Only when we understand that our true right to the land is based on the ultimately ethical concept that G-d gave it to us – only then will we get the results that Yiftach achieved,“thus the children of Ammon were subdued by the children of Israel.”

RABBI MEIR KAHANE: Parashat Korach – Attaining Greatness: Do's and Don'ts

Ancient Torah
The Torah commands that before each Jew who is going to study, read or take part in discussions and studies related to the Torah, one must recite (once in the day,) the following blessing:
Blessed are You, Hashem our G-d, King of the universe, Who has made us holy through His commandments, and commanded us to actively study Torah.
Please Hashem, our G-d, sweeten the words of Your Torah in our mouths and in the mouths of all Your people Israel. May we and our offspring, and our offspring's offspring, and all the offspring of Your people, the House of Israel, may we all, together, know Your Name and study Your Torah for the sake of fulfilling Your desire. Blessed are You, Hashem, Who teaches Torah to His people Israel.
Blessed are You, Hashem our G-d, King of the universe, Who chose us from all the nations, and gave us the Torah. Blessed are You, Hashem, Giver of the Torah.
Amen

Compilation with Rabbi Meir Kahane's thoughts on Parashat Korach...

Korach son of Izhar son of Kohath son of Levi separated himself, with Dathan and Abiram, sons of Eliab, and On son of Peleth, the offspring of Reuben. (Num. 16:1)

Rav Binyamin Ze'ev Kahane, the son of Rav Meir Kahane, relates: 'Rashi comes and repeats the question asked by the sages: “Now Korach who was prudent, why did he commit this folly?” In other words, it is obvious that Korach was not some nut, but rather a “gadol” in Torah, as we will soon see. He also appreciated the greatness of Moshe Rabbeinu, as the Parasha itself testifies to, and knew that Moshe was not after the “kavod”. And so he should have known that there would be some serious Divine backlash to the steps he was taking. This being the case: “Why did he commit this folly?” And Rashi answers: “His eyes deceived him; he saw a great chain (i.e., a chain of great men) issuing from him, (viz.,) Shmuel, who weighed against Moshe and Aharon. [Korach] said: Because of him I shall be saved. And twenty-four 'watches' will arise from his son's sons, all of them prophesying through 'Ruach HaKodesh' ... [Korach] said: Is it possible that all this greatness is destined to arise from me and I shall remain silent? Therefore he associated himself to come to that prerogative: for he heard from the mouth of Moshe that all of them would perish and one would be saved, one that the Eternal One would choose, that one would be holy; he erred and applied this to himself; but he didn't see correctly, for his sons would return to G-d and that was what Moshe had seen.” And here we must ask a great question: We are talking about a tremendous Torah giant with “Ruach HaKodesh” who was capable of seeing generations and generations into the future! How then, could a man with such great vision and prophecy walk like a blind man in an alley, unable to understand something which any thinking, logical person could understand who does not possess any special “Ruach HaKodesh”?' (The writings of Rav Binyamin Ze'ev Kahane, HY”D, Parashat Korach)

A possible explanation, by taking a look at Korach's collaborators in the rebellion, can be found in Rabbi Meir Kahane's Peirush HaMaccabee on Shemot and Isaiah: So they got themselves up from near the dwelling of Korach, Dathan and Abiram, from all around. Dathan and Abiram went out “nitzavim” (erect) at the entrance of their tents, with their wives, children and infants (Num. 16:27). [Chazal said regarding this:] The expression “yetziva” (standing erect) always refers to prophecy, as it says, I saw the Lord “nitzav” (standing erect) on the Altar (Amos 9:1), and it also says, And Hashem came, “va-yityatzav” (and was present) … (1 Samuel 3:10) (Mechilta de-Rabbi Yishmael, Beshallach 3; Shirata 10) And similarly: The expression “yetziva” (standing erect) always refers to Ruach ha-Kodesh (ibid.). That is to say, every time that the Tanach uses the expression “yetziva” (standing erect) with reference to a tzaddik, implying that he stands straight and upright and strong, stubborn and steadfast, unflinching and sure, proud and fearless, this is because G-d is with him at that time. After all, it would otherwise be inconceivable for the term “yetziva” (standing erect) to apply to a mortal man, who is alive today and dead tomorrow, strong today yet old and feeble tomorrow. The adjective, “yatziv” (erect, firm) and the verb “nitzav” (stand erect) refer specifically to G-d, as in the verse: G-d “nitzav” (stands erect) in the Divine congregation (Psalms 82:1). And this is the reason that the Torah uses the same verb to describe Israel at Mount Sinai: “va-yityatz’vu” (and they stood erect) at the bottom of the mountain (Exodus 19:17). And similarly: You “nitzavim” (are standing erect) today, all of you, before Hashem your G-d(Deuteronomy 29:9). And G-d uses the same verb in instructing Moses to appear before Pharaoh: Get up early in the morning, “ve-hityatzev”(and stand erect) before Pharaoh (Exodus 8:16). On the face of it, this seems puzzling: how could Moses possibly have dared to go to Pharaoh – and more than that, to stand proudly before him? – Only because G-d was with him.

However, this same verb is sometimes applied to evil people: the Torah says that Dathan and Abiram went out nitzavim (“standing erect”) (Numbers 16:27). And the Midrash explains: They went out reviling and blaspheming, as it says, they went out standing erect. Similarly, later on the Tanach says: And the Philistine [Goliath] would approach morning and evening, “va-yityatzev” (and he stood erect) for forty days [reviling and blaspheming](1 Samuel 17:16) (Tanchuma, Korach 8). This is because evil people arrogate to themselves the status of standing erect, which is the diametric opposite of the tzaddik: The tzaddik who has elevated himself and sanctified himself and shed his pride knows that he can succeed only in the merit of the power that G-d has nitzav (“relegated”) to him, even as he himself is a worm and not a man (Psalms 22:7). By contrast, the evil person, who is of coarse spirit and arrogant, claims that he stands erect through his own power – and more, like Dathan, Abiram, and Goliath, he blasphemes Hashem. And this is how David describes the nations:The kings of the earth “yityatz’vu” (stand erect)…against Hashem and against His anointed (Psalms 2:2),although He Who dwells in Heaven will laugh, the Lord will make fun of them (verse 4). And so at the Red Sea, Moses told the Children of Israel: “hityatz’vu” (stand erect) and see Hashem’s salvation (Exodus 14:13). More than this: if the Jewish nation will be humble, and will accept upon itself the yoke of Heaven, then no man “yityatzev” (will stand erect) before you (Deuteronomy 7:24).

G-d performed a miracle by making Aaron’s staff – a dry wooden stick – blossom, as it says Moses came to the Tent of Testimony, and behold! Aaron’s staff had flowered…flowers had come forth, and blossoms had blossomed (Numbers 17:23). G-d smashed Korach’s arrogance, and that of Dathan and Abiram, who in their arrogance knew only how to make fight and contention blossom and flourish, as the Torah says of Dathan and Abiram, behold, two Hebrew men were contending (Exodus 2:13). The Hebrew word “nitzim” (contending) connotes quarrels that sprout and blossom forth, like the “nitzanim” [blossoms] are seen in the Land (Song of Songs 2:12). In their arrogance, these men kicked against G-d and sought to aggrandize themselves; and G-d symbolized the humiliation of the arrogant and the aggrandizement of the humble and those who believe in Him by the staff, a simple wooden stick that was in the Tent of Testimony, sprouted and blossomed. Only the humble and the modest can be great; only one who makes himself small will become truly great, while if he makes himself great, then he will shrink to the tiniest of dimensions. And every person must believe that all his achievements and accomplishments come solely through G-d’s providence.

The prophet Ezekiel said: And all the trees of the field will know that I, Hashem, have cast down the tall tree, I have raised up the lowly tree; I have dried up the moist tree, I have cause the dried-up tree to flourish (Ezekiel 17:24). And the Midrash interprets: “I have cast down the tall tree” – this is Korach; “I have raised up the lowly tree” – this is Aaron, as it says, “behold! Aaron’s staff had flowered”…; “I have dried up the moist tree” – these are Abimelech’s wives…; “I have caused the dried-up tree to flourish” – this is Sarah (Yalkut Shimoni, Ezekiel 357). And all of this is the keystone of faith.

BENADOR: Congratulations, America! Scott Walker WON!!!!

After spending hours waiting for results, we finally learned that Republican Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin, won the recall in what has been one of the most talked about elections.  His win is noteworthy because of he has beaten labor-backed Democratic opponent, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barnett.

Discontent with Barack Hussein Obama is now conspicuous to the point that conservative voters mobilized in sufficient numbers to give the Governor another term.

The massive response allowed Walker to win with a difference of 54 percent to 45 percent, representing almost 88 percent of the expected vote.

And with this first success, the first baby step to save America has been executed...

BENADOR: "Moderate" Muslim Zuhdi Jasser Promotes Islam in America

“Taqqiya, in Islam, is a doctrine of pious fraud or religious dissimulation... whereby Muslims may under certain circumstances openly deceive infidels by feigning friendship or goodwill provided their heart remains true to Islam.”

Americans are known for being naive.  However, the situation should change when one speaks of noted patriot scholars, terrorism experts and even palestinian-terrorists-turned-head-of-think-tanks, who adamantly pretend to care for America in their interminable fight against Muslim terrorists.  Right!

Think tanks are enterprises conceived to devote their attention and capabilities to the study of certain domain. And for that, they need whatever amount of “experts” their funds can pay for.  Be it as it may, such organizations, for all their “studies”, “investigations”, “translations”, meetings, etc., etc., need supporters who will help finance the operations.  But the crowd that’s the most appreciated and needed are an ever thinning group of high-caliber donors that make their bread and butter.

And during time of recession and economic depression, what would happen if those sacrosanct think tanks would lose their donors?  It would be a catastrophe.  After all, the heads of think tanks are said to have unregulated scale of salary plus all the perks of the job.  Therefore, what is necessary to save those think tanks from closing?  They must keep innovating and make sure “hope” is a word of choice to stimulate and motivate their donors, and they try the most creative options and are willing and ready to accept even impossible acrobacies.

And, what can serve as such an instrument?  They must find “solutions” even if there are none at our reach.

In the case of think tanks devoted to study terrorism, the ideal solution is to firmly believe that there exists a definite differentiation within the Muslim world between the terrorists and radicals, on one side; and the “rest” of the Muslims, on the other side.

They are desperate to find so-called “moderate” Muslims, after all, don't they look "peaceful"? Thus, they make believe they have found a solution to all their social, political and financial problems.

However the vast majority of these “experts” have never lived or worked in the Muslim world.  Some will argue that in their youth they studied a few years at an American institution in the region, or lived in Afghanistan, Pakistan or Indonesia, for a few years, and so on... decades ago.

When in the Muslim Middle East, it's easy to absorb the beautiful, loyal family connection within the Muslim world.  Families are tightly intertwined, they are all family, brothers, cousins, nephews...  and they all call each other “brother” thus Muslim Brotherhood.

And, what unites them is:  their religion, Islam.  The laws of the Koran are followed, no questions asked.  And, among those laws are sharia, taqqiya, and punishments such as mutilations of members, beheadings, stoning, pedophilia, and so much more.  And the example set by their prophet Mohammed, is blindly followed.

It is in this context that we find, here in America, a seemingly innocuous character whose unspoken role is to infiltrate the highest echelons of our society.  For those of us who are averted observers from the Muslim world, not only from books or from the outside, but from the nucleus of their socio-anthropological system, we recognize that the allegiance that keeps them close-knitted will make them fulfill their role of facilitators.

Zuhdi Jasser

Zuhdi Jasser is no “invader” per se, because he was born in Ohio from devout Muslim parents from Syria who moved to America in the seventies.
I met Mohammed Zuhdi Jasser when he was invited to speak in front of an influential group.  The expectations were high prior to meeting him, he came with highest recommendations from friends.

In comes Jasser, a handsome, suave man, with impeccable manners and equally impeccably outfitted.  It was immediately obvious that this man was not targeting and trying to impress average Joe but this very exclusive milieu in the Upper East Side and the rest of the American elite.

However, I was mostly interested in listening to his speech, in which he mentioned at the very beginning that 9/11 was the result of actions by “foreign agents.”  Then he spoke of liberties, democracy.  And, in the whole speech -which was addressed to a group of New York Jews, he did not mention even once, Israel.

At the Q-A, I asked why was it so difficult to say that 9/11 perpetrators who caused the massacres were Muslim terrorists.  To which he said that it was not related to religion.  Hmm...  So, I asked, “It was not their religion they called when they blew themselves saying Allah hu Aqbar?”  No, it was not religion.

The host came to his rescue allowing for a more friendly question about “what can we do to be nicer to Muslims...?”

At the end of Q-A, I managed to ask him two main questions:  Why did he not mention Israel in all his talk to this group of Jews?  He said: because it has nothing to do with this.  I said to him, Israel and Judaism are inseparable.

My second question was:  As a devout Muslim, you practice taqqiya, do you not?  His answer:  “You are asking me if I lie.”  My answer then was:  “No, I am asking you if you practice taqqiya...”   He said he does not lie.  And practicing taqqiya is not a lie, indeed.

First, let’s understand exactly what a “doctrine” is.  It comes from the Latin word “doctrina” and it is a codification of beliefs or a body of teachings or instructions, taught principles or positions, as for example in the body of teachings in a branch of knowledge or belief system.

Taqqiya, in Islam, is a doctrine of pious fraud or religious dissimulation... whereby Muslims may under certain circumstances openly deceive infidels by feigning friendship or goodwill provided their heart remains true to Islam.

Jasser’s position is blatant and he has no qualms in speaking about it anywhere he is invited, as for instance at the Oslo Freedom Forum 2010 or anywhere else for that matter.

American Islamic Forum for Democracy's (AIFD)

His organization, the American Islamic Forum for Democracy's (AIFD) avowed mission is “to advocate for the preservation of the founding principles of the United States Constitution, liberty and freedom, through the separation of "mosque and state.”

It looks as though, for Zuhdi Jasser America’s religion is Islam...“separation of mosque and state...” But, we are in a judeo-christian country...

Lt. Commander Zuhdi Jasser, US Navy

However, there is another detail of non-negligible importance that will show how deep ingrained Muslims already are within our system.

Mohammed Zuhdi Jasser is a former Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy, where he served as staff internist in the Office of the Attending Physician of the United States Congress.

Now, we must wonder why would the United States Navy send Mohammed Zuhdi Jasser to serve as staff internist in the “Office of the Attending Physician of the United States Congress...  instead of deploying him with his valuable skills to one of our different war zone fronts...?

The following is a very telling piece of information, mostly if we read in between the lines... “AIFD's mission is derived from a love for America and a love of our faith of Islam. Dr. Jasser and the board of AIFD believe that Muslims can better practice Islam in an environment that protects the rights of an individual to practice their faith as they choose. The theocratic "Islamic" regimes of the Middle East and some Muslim majority nations use Islam as a way to control Muslim populations, not to glorify God as they portend. The purest practice of Islam is one in which Muslims have complete freedom to accept or reject any of the tenants or laws of the faith no different than we enjoy as Americans in this Constitutional republic.”

Let’s analyze this together:   Mohammed and his board “... believe that Muslims can better practice Islam in an environment that protects the rights of individuals to practice their faith as they choose.”

That, however, is not new.  In the aftermath of 9/11, I coordinated the visit of some Kuwaiti representatives from the Kuwaiti parliament, including a few women -who had no right to vote at the time- and who complained that they sent their children from our secular homes to study in America, and they go back radicalized.

Indeed, Dr. Mohammed Zuhdi Jasser is right in his assertion and the key notion in his rhetoric is “legal protection” because our country being infected by both viruses of democracy and liberalism, protects everyone equally:  whether you are a crazy scientist, a suicidal terrorist, or a Muslim under the wrapping of an inoffensive kind doctor.

Commissioner Jasser at USCIRF

Indeed, the Obama administration did not take long and last March 2012, appointed Zuhdi Jasser Commissioner at the US Commission for International Religious Freedom.

As recently as May 16, 2012, Jasser wrote in an article about “contempt of religion."

That said, if Jasser is so interested in change, he is wrong if he believes that preaching among us will influence any change within his Muslim brethren.  The fight must, as all other fights throughout History, be done from the inside, risking one’s life, ready to give sweat, tears and blood for the better good.

What is surprising is that Jasser says it clearly:  “I sit before you a proud, devout, American Muslim whose country is polarized on its perceptions of Muslims and the radicalization that occurs within our communities...”
Jasser, the coqueluche of Fox News Channel

Is he a good devout American Muslim?  Sure he is and that’s why he is the constant guest at Murdoch-Alwaleed’s Fox News Channel.

Alwaleed, issue of the Saudi royal family knows how to do things to show us what he knows we want and expect, and what we believe in, so he has chosen the Muslim voice he can trust, a voice appealing to all naive Americans, speaking of liberty, of our founding fathers and of separation of “mosque and state.”  But, America is about separation of church and state.

Jasser’s book

“Battle for the Soul of Islam” is a palliative compilation of his groundless wishful thinking that he proposes to non-Muslim Americans, as his publisher writes:He offers non-Muslims a definitive comprehension of the difference between Islam and the spiritual cancer known as Islamism, or political Islam, and how violence and extremism run counter to Islam’s true teachings.”

As if though we were not aware of the reality of the corrupted life of their revered prophet, Mohammed, and the monstrous laws dictated by the Koran.

At another point of his career, Zuhdi Jasser said to Congress: “... that political Islam was based on the idea that the government should be run under Islamic law, which he said violated the American concept of separation of church and state.”  But, my reader can take a look above, when he spoke at the Oslo Freedom Forum 2010, he specifically mentioned that his organization’s goal is directly connected to America’s separation of mosque and state (on the youtube segment, is at the 44th second.)

Political Islam IS Islam

To begin with, it all starts with the Religion of Islam and Koran establishes the rules of existence at every single second of Muslim life.
As a matter of fact, Islam is considered by many as a political ideology under the wrapping of a religion.
So, for Jasser to affirm that political Islam is the problem, is a way to manipulate ignorant masses, so that when we see more and more burkas running our streets, we will be at ease.
But, forget not, Jasser has never condemned the atrocities committed in the name of Islam. Or has he?

CONCLUSION

In his path to achieve his goals, Zuhdi Jasser never accepts responsibility.  He never says he is sorry for 9/11.  He also never condemns severely the acts of 9/11 committed by barbaric Muslim terrorists in the name of Islam.

However, he is intent in showing us how Muslim terrorists have nothing to do with the ‘neutral’ Muslim masses, trying to make us forget that in that part of the world, family is united, solidary, sacred, so they simply have to ‘know’ what their progeny is busy with.

Zuhdi Jasser does not mention at any point that terrorism and the so called radical Islam are promoted in the teachings of the Koran.

People like Frank Gaffney, Steven Emerson, Brigitte Gabriel, Glenn Beck, and many others seem to have given in to the Jasser charm, but sadly they are wrong.  The man knows how to make friends. They would do well to ask him for his support of Israel and the Jewish people and they should ask him to write about it.
He should also condemn in unmistaken terms the attacks against humanity that explicitily  appear in the Koran:  Stoning, mutilations, honor killing, beheadings, pedophilia, and more.
His is a very shrewd move.  When Zuhdi Jasser pretends to fight against CAIR, and then the Obama administration appoints their “good” Muslim as Commissioner of the US Commission on International Religious Freedom, in the end the winner is Islam.

His achievements are serious:  He has succeeded to infiltrate the elite.  He is the Muslim contributor of choice in Fox News Channel, and that should be a clear signal of his closeness to that great pro Muslim Brotherhood supporter and Murdoch’s friend, saudi prince Alwaleed.  Jasser is also Commissioner at USCIFR, head of his own Muslim-facilitating organization, American Islamic Forum for Democracy. And he is a US Navy Lieutenant Colonel, and an invited guest speaker at conferences in Islam.

Making indiscriminately Assalam Alekhum to a man who rather wants to make America see how unfair we look at his people, is simply counterproductive.

Those in the know should be asking Zuhdi Jasser when will he start working within the Muslim world to actively promote change and hope, simply because only a revolution could stop terrorism to be exported by Muslims worldwide.

And he should remember that America is a Judeo-Christian country and that his people must adapt to our customs, not the other way around.

His is a very subtle strategy, and it is working, because Zuhdi Jasser, by his own account, is a proud devout Muslim, for whom, Islam is most certainly his priority number one.

Just remember that whenever Jasser wins over CAIR, in reality it's Islam who wins.

BENADOR: Obama making America become modern Sodom and Gomorra

Who would be surprised, that it has been in one of the various nests of American  liberalism, Boston, that the Defense of Marriage Act has been attacked by their corrupt, progressive, liberal court.

By declaring the Defense of Marriage Act unconstitutional, they forget that it was none other than President Bill Clinton who signed it into law, and that it passed with large majorities in both houses.  The DOMA is a United States federal law that defines marriage as the legal union of one man and one woman.  And that's what and how Clinton signed on September 21st, 1996.

Even though this is another flagrant attack on one of the utmost pillars of the existence of America, it came with the territory when gay marriage was legalized.  Again and as usual, there is no outrage from conservative Americans, which means that progressive American liberals will once again have it their way.

What will be the average American attitude?  Given that no one has disapproved of gay marriage, the likelihood is that nothing will happen as a result of this move by the Boston court.
However, just as they are do not accept  the fact  that traditionally marriage is between a man and a woman, one can beg the physiological argument to the contrary -but that's no longer useful since the president, administration and legislators have ruled in the opposite direction, with the tacit consent of Americans.

And so have we given one more step to make 21st-century America the modern days Sodom and Gomorrah, under the corrupt, dissolute, amoral and immoral, Obama leadership.

Many argue that marriage cannot be and is not reduced to man and woman.  That's their truth.

However, "our" truth is even more valid, given that when Gd created mankind, or for the atheists who believe that Nothing created mankind, had from the beginning only there been men to be married with men, life would have stopped with those two men.   Or with two women.

The equation M + M = NOTHING

The equation W + W = NOTHING

The equation M + W = LIFE

The major difference is LIFE simply because without LIFE mankind would not exist.

Obama, his administration and the useless, accommodating Congress, are selling the soul of America and making sure of her descent to Sodom and Gomorrah.  And that must be stopped.

Note: I have chosen this picture of a classical, traditional wedding, because it's one of the few brides whose wedding gown is modest.

Hashem spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the Children of Israel and say to them: Any man whose wife shall go astray and commit treachery against him [“u-ma'alah bo ma'al”], and a man could have lain with her carnally, but it was hidden from the eyes of her husband, and she became secluded and could have been defiled ...The man shall bring his wife to the Kohen and he shall bring her offering for her... (Num. 5: 11-13,15)

In Me'ilah 18a we find: "Ma'al" can only mean “change” [i.e., acting differently from what G-d commanded us to do]. Thus it says, “If a woman deviates and commits a “ma'al” against her husband” (Num. 5:12) [i.e., switching mates for a strange man]. It also says (I Chron. 5:25), “They committed a “ma'al” against the G-d of their ancestors and strayed after the gods of the nations of the land” [i.e., they they switched from worshiping G-d to worshiping idols.] A woman who profanes her holiness by turning to harlotry is called a “zonah”, and a married woman who commits adultery is called a “sotah”. Both words convey deviation, altering the role one was commanded to follow (see Torat Kohanim, Vayikra, Parsheta 11).
In actual fact, change and deceit are one. Whoever veers from his role is untrue to it. Change, deceit and “me'ilah” are all one, as well, because “me'ilah” means casting off one's yoke, which is what one does when he wishes to alter his role and lie about his mission in the world. “Me'ilah” means betraying [begidah] one's duty, and “me'ilah” [deceit] and “begidah” [treason] resemble “me'il” and “beged”, two words for clothing. Our clothing symbolizes the Divine yoke and holiness G-d placed on Adam, naked of mitzvot and holiness, as a covering. “Me'ilah” and “Begidah” indicate the removal of this spiritual garb. As Ibn Ezra (Lev. 5:15) writes, “If anyone commit a trespass [“ma'al”]: I.e., he removes his “ma'al”, his covering, from the same root as “me'il”, cloak.” If someone casts off G-d's yoke, he is a “ben beliya'al”, a person without a yoke [“beli ol”]. This expression connotes and evildoer, as we find regarding the apostate city: “Base people [bnei beliya'al] are gone out from the midst of you” (Deut. 13:14). Sifri comments (Re'eh 93), “Persons who broke off G-d's yoke.”Similarly, Sanhedrin 111b teaches, “Bnei beliya'al”: Persons who broke off the yoke of Heaven from their necks.” Yet they are not just “beli ol”, without a yoke, but “beli ya'al”, the serve no benefit [“to'elet] to anyone. Man was created only to accept the yoke of G-d's kingdom, and if he shirks this, then he serves no purpose and is better off dead.
The sin of such a person is “me'ilah”, which connotes “change”. As our sages said (Me'ilah 18a): If anyone commits a trespass [“ma'al”] (Lev. 5 :15): “Ma'al” always refers to some change, as in, If any man's wife go astray and act unfaithfully [“ma'al”] against him” (Num. 5:12), or “They broke faith with the G-d of their fathers and went astray after the gods of the peoples of the land” (I Chronicles 5:25). “Me'ilah" refers to change involving straying from the path, changing one's role, pursuing something foreign. The “mo'el” betrays his duty, the command given him. It is as though the “mo'el” has removed the cloak [“me'il”] that covers him, like the adulterer [“boged”] removing his clothing [“beged”]. Both are naked because they cast off their “me'il”, their “beged” and their “ol”[yoke]. In the Temple, the Torah established a “me'ilah” offering to atone for the person who betrayed the holy objects of G-d, deriving benefit from them as if they were non-holy, and transferring the holy to a non-holy domain. When G-d created the world, He defined and separated His beings and gave them borders and places of their own, domains to which they belong. The word domain [“reshut”] also means “place”, and can also connote a license to be somewhere or do something. A woman is set aside specifically for her husband. When she fornicates, she betrays him and her own domain, because her domain was sanctified and set apart. She received permission to be in her husband's place, and he becomes her domain. She has no license to be with another man who is not her domain. Similarly, the Jewish People were set apart fro G-d. He is their portion and inheritance. When they substitute idolatry or a foreign culture in His place, this constitutes change, straying, betrayal. The general rule is this: man was created to accept unto himself the yoke of Heaven and thereby to transcend his own egotism and fulfill his purpose in the world and the purpose of the world itself. Whoever breaks off his yoke betrays his task and forfeits his domain on this earth, because his presence here, in fact, his very creation, is no longer of benefit. How few, indeed, are the elite! Even so, we were commanded to study and to teach, to preserve and to practice G-d's idea of Jewishness as it was given to us, as we were truly and straightforwardly commanded. We must reject every trace of foreign culture, of falsification and distortion, and accept the yoke of Heaven.
Woman is the symbol of man's love and desire, for there is no love in man's nature greater than his love for woman. Precisely for this reason G-d created man and woman, so they would be bound together with fierce love and desire, ready to sacrifice for each other and to give of themselves to an extent unheard of in any other relationship. They would be willing even to sacrifice their lives for each other, so strong is that love.Being so fiercely bound to another human being is the apex of man's breaking down his selfishness, arrogance and evil impulse. G-d created this bond so that man would understand from it – at least in part – how powerful must be his love for G-d. Thus, if a husband is ever unfaithful to his wife, it constitutes betrayal of the true concept of love and a dreadful lie looming over the marital relationship. G-d decreed that this must be an exclusive relationship founded on mutual trust, a symbol of the prohibition against the dreadful sin of polytheism, worshiping idols as well as G-d (Ex.20:3). At the same time, an evil woman is a symbol of the opposite – idolatry. Whoever falls deeply in love with a woman who incites him to sin, even to heresy and idolatry, brings death unto himself. In his fierce love, he will be ready to do all she asks, even commit terrible sins. Thus, a woman can either symbolize love of G-d, or, Heaven forbid, love of heresy. After all, even heresy involves emotional attraction. As Berachot 12 b teaches: Why was the third paragraph of the Shema (Num. 15:37-41) established to be recited daily? R. Yehuda bar Chaviva said, “Because it contains six elements: 1) the mitzvah of Tzitzit; 2) the Exodus from Egypt; 3) the yoke of mitzvot; and admonitions against 4) heretical belief; 5) immoral sexual thought; and 6) idolatrous thoughts...” Indeed it was learned: “After your heart” (Num 15:39) refers to heresy, and it says (Ps. 14:1), “The fool says in his heart:'There is no G-d'”. Here we have proof that heresy depends on the heart and involves desire and attraction. Hence the woman, symbol of male desire, can either symbolize devotion to G-d or pursuit of heresy. Rashi interprets the verse, “I find more bitter than death the woman” (Eccles. 7:26): “Death is the harshest of ten harsh things created (Bava Batra 10a), and I find 'woman' – i.e. heresy – harsher still.”
Listen then to the truth. Let us savor the bitter fruits of our love affair with the world of gentilized civilization. It is a war for the hearts and souls and minds of the Jews. It is a war between those who wish to be amongst and like the nations, the gentiles, to embrace their culture and ideas and values and abominations; and between those who recognize their uniqueness and chosenness and who embrace the holiness of a separate, distinct, isolated, different people, living apart from all the others, unsullied by the abominations of cultures conceived in impurity and born in profane vanity. The values of Judaism are, in so many areas, and so overwhelmingly, different from those of western-gentilized Hellenism. What is ethical and what is moral and what is merciful and what is just? The answers of Judaism and of Hellenism are far apart. Political equality? Democracy? Tolerance of abomination? Freedom in social, personal affairs? The role of authority? Poles apart are the views of the Jews and the Hebrew-speaking gentiles. Sinai is cast away for Times Square and the purity of the Chosen people is exchanged for the material vomit of Los Angeles. The modesty of holiness is contemptuously abandoned and the nation wallows in the nakedness of gentile culture. “Thou hast built thy lofty place at every head of the way and hast made thy beauty an abomination and hast opened thy feet to everyone that passed by and multiplied thy harlotries.” (Ezekiel 16:24-25) Let us rise and garb ourselves with the cloak of sanctity; wrap ourselves in the regal robes of holiness. Every Jew a sacred child of G-d, the State of Israel the hallowed palace of the King of Kings. Let the Sabbath sing forth in joy from every home and the food that enters the mouth be as pure as the words that leave it. Let values be clean as the fresh mountain air of Zion and let degeneracy and vanity vanish as the morning mist before the warm sun of Jerusalem. Let hatred and violence and evil against brothers be buried beneath the centuries-old memories of common suffering. “I will betroth you unto Me via faith, and you shall know the L-rd” (Hosea 2:22). The “faith” referred to is the knowledge that there truly exists a Creator of the world, and that He is L-rd of hosts, the G-d of history and of truth. Such knowledge, and man's submission to G-d's ways and commandments, is man's purpose, and “this is the doctrine Moses placed before the People of Israel” (Deut. 4:44).
